Result Improvement With Timely Access To Textbooks

Students in Kedarseu Rural Municipality are showcasing remarkable academic achievements despite facing various challenges in their educational journey. Anchoring this positive shift is Ankita Damai, a sixth-grade student at Jana Chetana Basic School, who has recently emerged as the top scorer in her class. Her success stands out against previous struggles marked by minimal academic progress.

Ankita's remarkable turnaround is attributed to newfound textbook access and a revitalized commitment to diligent study habits. Her sister, Srijana, highlighted the uphill battle Ankita faced due to worn-out textbooks and a lack of academic support at home. However, with the acquisition of new books upon entering the fifth grade last year (2079), Ankita's dedication to her studies soared, resulting in an outstanding performance in the annual examinations.

Echoing Ankita's success, Tejendra Bhandari, a student navigating four classes at the same institution, recounted the challenges of limited textbook access. Tejendra's testimony underscores a common struggle shared by many students who persevered through adverse conditions to achieve academic success.

Meanwhile, in Bitthadchir Rural Municipality, Vinod Bohara's academic prowess at Kedar Secondary School further exemplifies students' resilience in adversity. Despite encountering obstacles such as incomplete course materials and daunting examinations, Binod's dedication to learning has yielded commendable results.

The encouraging academic outcomes extend beyond individual achievements to signify broader improvements within the educational landscape. The concerted efforts of educational authorities and increased access to textbooks have facilitated an environment conducive to academic excellence.

Hariprasad Soti, Chief of the Education Branch of Khaptadchhanna Rural Municipality, emphasized the importance of providing essential school resources. He outlined plans to reimburse schools for textbooks, ensuring equitable access to educational materials for all students.

The official booksellers affiliated with the Janak Education Material Center have been efficiently distributing textbooks, as reported by education development and coordination units. All students from community schools in the district are set to receive new books, ensuring continued access to quality education.
