Edusanjal has named Ram Raj Khakurel, former Controller of Examinations (Class 10) and current Director-General of Teacher Record Office, the person of the month for March 2021.
Every month, Edusanjal honors one of the outstanding contributors in the education sector in acknowledgment of their efforts.
Mr. Khakurel led the initiative to design alternative question patterns for visually challenged SEE students. The new design will be introduced this year onwards.
He also introduced the provision of integrating grades of the increment exams into the students' main grade sheet. There was no system of mentioning GPA in the grade sheet of increment exam previously. Under his initiative, the system has been placed to do the same with an aim to ensure uniformity.
Mr. Khakurel is also responsible for easing the system of updating/changing students' details. He implemented the system of updating the NEB office at Sanothimi after the changes are made at the province level. The students will no longer have to face hassles during certificate verification and related issues.
Edusanjal has handed over a letter of commendation and a badge to honor Mr. Khakurel’s notable contribution to Nepal’s education system.
