A public fitness park has been set in motion by Project Temple Campaign at NarayanChaur, Naxal, Kathmandu.

The fitness park was constructed with the collaboration of Subhashree International College and Nepal Youth Fitness and Calisthenics (NYFC) under the same Project Temple Campaign.

The park was constructed to minimize the health issues brought about due to lack of exercise caused by the city lifestyle with its busy working environments, says the chairman of NYFC, Mr. Sukdev Karki.

The park was inaugurated by Mr. Gagan Thapa who emphasized how regular exercise keeps one physically and mentally fit. He also added that such fitness parks are to be constructed all over the country to promote fitness and health.

Under this campaign of setting up fitness parks in various cities of Nepal, such parks have already been established in Tokha, Kathmandu, and Lakeside, Pokhara. The Temple Campaign also notified that similar parks are on the verge of being inaugurated in UN Park, Lalitpur, Butwal, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, and other seven cities around the country.
