Prof. Dr. Shrikrishna Giri, Vice-Chairman of the Medical Education Commission, was named Edusanjal's Person of the Month. Edusanjal presented Vice President Giri with a letter of commendation and an emblem in recognition of his service to medical education.

According to Rajan Koirala, program coordinator and Chief Financial Officer of Edusanjal, the Medical Education Commission, chaired by Dr. Giri successfully completed the bachelor's degree entrance exam this week and was awarded for its major contribution to medical education.

Every month, Edusanjal honors one of the most significant contributors to the field of education.

Prof. Giri formerly worked as an orthopedist. Dr. Giri worked at the National Trauma Center before becoming Vice President of the Commission. Prior to that, he was the Registrar of the Nepal Medical Council and the Rector of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS). He also served on the Fee Determination Committee under the Medical Education Act.

Since joining the commission, he has been actively monitoring and controlling medical education expenses, which have been the subject of much debate. Controlling irregularities in medical education admissions at the undergraduate level, including an integrated entrance examination at the undergraduate level and transparency in college selection, are only a few of his accomplishments.
