Problem Seen in SEE Shall Be Addressed: Education Minister

Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Devendra Paudel, has said that the problems are seen in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) will be gradually resolved through discussions. He said so while talking to journalists after inspecting the SEE being conducted at local Laxmi Secondary School, Lanku today.

The Minister said that some minor problems were seen in SEE. "Complaints regarding some question papers have come even from the teachers. We will review this," he said. Stating that SEE is being conducted throughout the country in a peaceful manner, the Education Minister hoped that the students will get good results.

According to him, the government has forwarded all the processes so that the teaching-learning schedule would not be disturbed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. On another topic, he said works related to the Teachers Hospital said to be constructed in Chitwan were moving ahead in an effective manner. Works like the related legal process, ensuring the acquisition of land, among others have already been done.

About the May 13 local level election, Minister Paudel who is also the Maoist Centre leader opined that the coalition will take ahead with the election in an effective way. Regarding the rebel candidates from within the party and among the ruling coalition, he said competing in the election as a rebel candidate was not positive culture for strengthening democracy.
