On June 2nd, the first-year students of Premier International IB Continuum School took the initiative to stage a thought-provoking street play at Labim Mall. Their goal was to generate awareness regarding domestic violence and question societal prejudices. The powerful performance engaged the audience, bringing attention to these urgent matters and advocating for equality and respect.

At Labim Mall, a vibrant shopping center in Pulchowk, the IBDP Year 1 students showcased their creativity and theatrical prowess through a captivating street play. Their performance delved into the challenging issues of domestic violence and the societal stereotypes that persist today. The students' thought-provoking portrayal left a lasting impact on the audience.

The primary aim of the play was to stimulate contemplation and foster dialogue regarding the detrimental consequences of domestic violence, as well as the destructive influence of stereotypes on both individuals and communities. The students utilized their formidable acting skills and storytelling abilities to effectively challenge deeply rooted beliefs. Their intent was to cultivate empathy, understanding, and solidarity for those impacted by these pressing concerns.

Labim Mall proved to be a perfect setting for the street play, enabling the students to connect with a varied audience and effectively communicate their message. People passing by and shoppers took a moment to witness the performance, and numerous individuals were deeply touched by the students' exceptional skills and the profound emotional impact of their portrayal.
