The 15th Senate meeting of the Patan Academy of Health Sciences has approved a budget of Rs 3.19 billion for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26.
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister and Academy Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, took place today at his official residence in Baluwatar. During the meeting, the budget presented by the Academy's Registrar, Prof. Dr. Parash Kumar Acharya, was approved.

Additionally, the meeting endorsed amendments to the Academy’s annual programs.
Prime Minister Oli urged the Academy officials to expedite the process of clearing arrears and enhancing the quality of services provided.

At Chancellor Oli's instruction, all health academies across the country are required to submit their proposed budgets and annual programs at the Senate meetings prior to the new fiscal year, which begins on July 17.
