The National PABSON Kathmandu District Committee recently organized a teacher training session at Texas College, Mitranagar, focusing on pre-primary and primary level female teachers. A total of 327 teachers from 40 schools across Kathmandu participated in the event.
The program was graced by the founding chairperson of National PABSON and former Constituent Assembly member, Geeta Kshetri Rana, who served as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included former Central Committee Chairperson Rituraj Sapkota, Senior Vice President Surya Bahadur Adhikari, General Secretary Pratap Bahadur Thapa, Vice Presidents Kumar Bhattarai and Dharma Raj Regmi, Texas College Principal Shyamsundar Shrestha, Program Director Narayan Pokharel, trainer Ashok Kumar Dahal, officials from district and municipal committees, and principals from various schools.
The training covered key areas such as effective teaching-learning methods, micro-teaching, and teacher motivational workshops. Speaking about the objective, District Committee Chairperson Hom Bahadur Adhikari (Manoj) stated that the initiative aimed to promote effective teaching practices for early-grade students.
The event was chaired by National PABSON Kathmandu District President Hom Bahadur Adhikari.
