Nepal University Teachers Association (NUTA) has requested all its constituents to contribute the sum of 3 days salary for the treatment and rehabilitation of all those affected by devastating earthquake of 12 Baisakh, 2072 and numerous after shocks thereafter.
Other major decisions of NUTA are:
1.Collect data of the loss of lives and property of all the universities and colleges so as to assess the collective loss and to take initiation for the relief and reconstruction
2.Collect names of all the specialized academics to facilitate to put them in various committees of reconstruction going to be announced by the Government.
3.Set-up a collection centre for the materials to be distributed as relief to the victims at NUTA's Central Office, Trichandra College, Ghantaghar, Kathmandu.
