In order to jointly provide internship and career opportunities to NCA students and alumni, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MBBL) and NCA College of Management signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on May 18, 2023. The signing of this MOU is a noteworthy accomplishment and offers aspiring bankers for NCA the chance to gain valuable experience at Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank.
Established in 1999 and managed by a group of knowledgeable bankers, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank is one of the most well-known Bikas banks in Nepal. For students interested in a future in banking, the NCA and MBBL alliance strives to make internships and job placements simpler. Students and graduates of NCA will benefit from this partnership by gaining practical experience and insightful industry knowledge, which will improve their prospects.
In accordance with the agreement, NCA and MBBL shall annually host an employment fair where guests, including ACCA students, affiliates, and members, may actively participate in recruiting procedures. Through this platform, prospective professionals will be able to network with organizations and learn about new employment openings in the banking sector.
The MOU also promotes knowledge exchange between NCA and MBBL. Both organizations stand to benefit from an effort to share information since NCA staff and students will have access to wise counsel from the qualified experts at Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank.
The MOU was formally signed by Mr. Suresh Pandit, chair of NCA, and Mr. Bishal Raj Karki, director of human resources at Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank. NCA and MBBL have established the foundation for a productive partnership that would support the growth and development of aspirant banking professionals in Nepal through their combined efforts.
