The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has made the decision to halt teacher appointments through another decision at the ministerial level.
Spokesperson of the Ministry, Shivakumar Sapkota, informed that the decision to halt teacher appointments was made because the Teacher Service Commission has not completed the teacher selection process and has not prepared the criteria for teacher appointments.
Education Minister Sumana Shrestha, who announced the campaign for improvement in education, refrained from discussing matters such as appointments and promotions on social media, adopting a firm stance. She usually arrives at the ministry by 8 o'clock in the morning. Employees of the ministry's upper level usually arrive at the ministry by 9 o'clock in the morning.
