The Medical Education Commission (MEC) has released an important update regarding the MBBS program under the Medical Education Common Entrance Examination (MECEE-BL 2025). Due to the occurrence of multiple candidates securing identical scores, the MEC has had to manage candidate rankings and quotas using a Tie-Break system.
Key Points on the Tie-Break System
The Tie-Break system determines rankings based on the following sequence:
- Zoology and Botany – Tie-Break I
- Chemistry – Tie-Break II
- Physics – Tie-Break III
- Mental Agility Test (MAT) – Tie-Break IV
The revised results, reflecting these tie-break criteria, were officially published on 14th Bhadra, 2081. These results are now considered final.
Actionable Information for Candidates
Candidates who participated in the MECEE-BL 2025 MBBS entrance exam should note that this revised result is now the official outcome. If any candidate has concerns or grievances regarding the published results, they are encouraged to inform the commission within seven days of the notice date.
For further clarity, all stakeholders, including candidates, educational institutions, and relevant bodies, are advised that any procedures or decisions made prior to the publication of the revised results will not be recognized by the commission.
