GLM Running Shield Futsal Tournament an annual futsal event organized by the student of MBA Global Leadership and Management. This year will be the 5th edition of the cup series. The futsal tournament aims to bring the students of School of Management, Tribhuvan University (SOMTU) together, encourage students to live a healthy life, and to emphasize the importance of sports.
In the last series of MBA GLM 4th Running Shield Futsal Tournament, we had 16 teams; 9 boys and 7 girls which are 128 participants. The college administration and faculty also participated to encourage students in theprevious editions.
The history for MBA GLM Futsal Cup starts from the year 2015. It was one of the first kind of events at SOMTU where students from all different programs came together in the spirit of sportsmanship. In the first year, there were 15 teams in total, 9 boys and 6 girls. Similarly, in the 2nd MBA GLM Cup, there were Likewise, in the 3rd MBA GLM Cup, there were 19 teams, 11 boys and 8 girls. This year the futsal tournament will take place from April 7-12, 2019 at S. S. Krinagar, Kirtipur.
The School of Management at Tribhuvan University (SOMTU) is an autonomous institution that is responsible for operating a full-time professional MBA and MFC program. SOMTU MBA, as well as MFC program, is the intense two-year course of 60 credit hours spread over four semesters. MBA courses include MBA-Global Leadership & Management, MBA-IT, and General MBA.
