Management for community schools be changed: Tuladhar

Minister for Education Ganga Dhar Tuladhar stressed on the need for reforming community school management and he has been making efforts to bring necessary policy to this effect.

Speaking at a function organised at Chapagaun by District Education Office, Lalitpur, he said he has been making necessary programmes to start teaching in English medium in community schools and it will be started from the Kathmandu valley.

The malpractices appeared in the SLC examination system should be stopped saying the pass percentage in the last year's SLC result was decreased as he made possible efforts to discourage malpractices, said Tuladhar.

He said the government has given high priority to the education that it separated Rs. 64 billion in the budget for the fiscal year 2068/069 to improve the quality

On the occasion, 39 community schools that get more than 70 per cent pass percentage in last year's SLC were awarded.
