Madan Puraskar Guthi has announced that Mr. Bibek Ojha's groundbreaking book "Aithan" has been awarded the prestigious Madan Puraskar 2079. This esteemed literary honor is bestowed upon books that significantly contribute to Nepali literature and culture.
Mr. Bibek Ojha's "Aithan," published in the year 2079, was recognized for its profound exploration of Nepal's tumultuous history, skillfully blending dream writing techniques with exemplary fictional artistry. The book courageously delves into the nation's past nightmares and the lingering realities that continue to affect Nepali society, captivating readers with its powerful narrative.
The decision was made after consideration of 313 books submitted for this prestigious award. Among the finalists, "Aithan" emerged victorious, securing its place on the coveted "Madan Puraskar 2079."
In addition to the Madan Puraskar, the Guthi also awarded the Jagdamba-Shri of the year 2078 to Mr. Tekvir Mukhiya for his remarkable efforts in connecting literature with art and bringing creators closer to literary enthusiasts through his artwork.

The Madan Puraskar, inaugurated in 2012, has consistently celebrated exceptional works published in Nepali, both within Nepal and abroad. It aims to recognize and promote outstanding contributions to Nepali language, literature, and culture.
