The newly founded, Lumbini Technological University, has introduced two prominent programs: the Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, along with the BTech in Information Technology. This university, situated in Nepalgunj, Banke, was brought into existence by the Lumbini Province Government of Nepal through the University Act 2078.
The primary objective of this institution is to elevate the standards of higher education across a spectrum of disciplines including information technology, engineering, agriculture, forestry, and tourism. The eligibility criteria for the BTech program in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence necessitate that students have successfully completed their Class 12 education from NEB or an equivalent institution, with at least a C Grade/Second Division (or Grade D in the case of A-level qualifications). Furthermore, they should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as part of their curriculum.
As for the BTech program in Information Technology, candidates are required to have completed their Class 12 education from NEB or its equivalent, with a minimum D+ Grade/Second Division (or Grade D for those with A-level qualifications).
