Limbini Bauddha University is going to start new program from this academic session. The University is going to launch the Bachelor program of Buddhism, Travel and Tourism Managemnet (BBTM) session.
The executive committe has stated that the students from any faculty who passed 10+2 can apply for the program. However, the applicants must have secured at least 45% in the plus2 level.
The committe has informed that in the first session of this new program, forty sttudents will be enrolled to study as the first batch. According to the University, the program will have a Chinese language as optional subject to be taught in the course. The commencement of this course is expected to be helpful in promoting the tourism and cultural value of the Lumbini area.
Affordable fees are allocated by the aid from the University Grants Commission for running the program.
The program is said to be aimed for the stuudents willing to make a career in tour guide, event management, hotel management, tourism manager and the related fields. According the University, the classes will be running after the TIhar
