King’s College has been declared as the winner of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Global Business Challenge (GBC) contest beating six other teams. The contest was held at The British College on Tuesday and organized by CIMA in partnership with Barclay Bank. CIMA's Global Business Challenge enables students around the world to showcase their talent in business management.
GBC, an international event, is designed to bring out the best in young business leaders of tomorrow. The winning team from King’s College was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 40,000 and they will also be representing Nepal in the World GBC finals to be held in Mumbai, India in August. A total of 23 countries will be participating in the contest.
The contest plays an important role in producing the best of young business leaders. It has been organized globally for the past six years while this is its third year in Nepal.
