Kathmandu University is set to launch a post-graduate program focused on Indigenous Education, called the "Master in Indigenous Education and Development". Kathmandu University, School of Education, will oversee the implementation of this program.
According to Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel, the Dean of the School of Education, the "Master in Indigenous Education and Development" program will commence in August and will be a one year course. Individuals who have completed a post-graduate program in any other field will be eligible to apply for admission.
The "Master in Indigenous Education and Development" program will have a maximum capacity of 25 students and a tuition fee of Rs. 1,42,000. To develop the curriculum for this program, the School of Education has sought input from both domestic and foreign experts in the field.
