Islington College, London Metropolitan University, My Second Teacher, and RVI Group have signed an agreement to study BA (Hons) Business Administration at London Metropolitan University.
Today, following an agreement between four parties, Islington College, which is affiliated with a foreign university, took over the management of a foreign college for the first time in Nepal. The four organizations have reached an agreement to conduct online BA (Hons) Business Administration level classes in relation to London Metropolitan University. According to this, the university's curriculum will be taught in Myanmar and Thailand. The course will begin with the February session.
The entire process will be facilitated in collaboration, with Islington College taking the lead role on the student's journey to graduation. The college will be in charge of organizing student counseling, admission procedures, and improving students' abilities.
The President, Mr. Sulabh Budathoki has said that the faculty of Islington CollegeIslington College will also be responsible for creating the evaluation development process as well as conducting the marking process according to the guidelines of the London Metropolitan University. "We have succeeded in playing a leading role in Nepal's education sector by managing foreign colleges. This is a matter of pride not only for us but also for the country."
Another ground-breaking initiative included in this collaboration, and perhaps the most important, is the use of My Second Teacher as an online learning platform. All course material will be made available to students via My Second Teacher, and their assignments will be distributed via the same platform, Mr. Benson Sung informed.
My Second Teacher is responsible for all the work including fulfilling the teacher's post to conduct the online classes as mentioned in an agreement signed by Argus Ang of RVI Group, founder of My Second Teacher, Dr. Benson Sung, Islington College and Innovate Nepal Group Founder President Shulabh Budhathoki and London Metropolitan University Head of Academic Partnership Dr. Signed by Wendy Bloise.
This will provide students from across South Asia access to London Metropolitan University's competitive business curriculum, and provide a means for Islington CollegeIslington College's industry-leading faculty and administration to be recreated on a global scale.
Following the signing of the agreement, Dr. Wendy, Head of Academic Partnership at London Metropolitan University, stated that Islington College, which has a successful track record of providing excellent education in Nepal, will take over the management of colleges in both countries.
