An Interview with Neha Dahal, Program Coordinator of E-BIZ

Neha Dahal is the program coordinator of E-Biz competition and a BBA student. E-Biz is an exclusive competition that focuses on the raw visionary of youth by helping them to enhance their knowledge and skills regarding online business growth.

As Ensemble for Bachelors (EnB) is conducting the first edition of E-biz competition from June 21-June 27, edusanjal caught up with Ms. Neha Dahal to discuss the competition.

1 .Tell us more about yourself and your organization

I am the program coordinator of E-Biz competition and a BBA student. Neha Dahal is what I am named and called since I was born. Ensemble for Bachelors (EnB) is the organization I came to work with and learn. EnB is a platform rendering help services to students in case of materials and knowledge. I came across this group at some point when I was preparing for BBA entrance. As a member of the group and a follower of the page, I received sufficient help. So I thought, why not give back something to the team that had given me and everyone else so much. So I applied for the College Representative position. And now, here I am working with an organization, which is a group of 25 thousand BBA/BBM/BIM/BHM undergraduates.

2. Please enlighten our audience about the E-biz competition

E-biz competition is dedicated to e-commerce ideas. It is an exclusive competition that focuses on the raw visionary of youth by helping them to enhance their knowledge and skills regarding online business growth. This competition's motto is to help the participants mold their idea of e-commerce to a business prototype.

3. Who can compete?

The competition is only open for the students of Nepal, who are studying BBA, BBM, BHM, BIM, BCA. All semesters and every university. The student must be a Nepali citizen and currently pursuing their undergraduate degree in the country.

A team of 2-4 members with a scratch e-commerce idea, a duly filled registration form, and Rs 500 registration charge is mandatory to participate in the competition.

4. What are the plans and programs?

Seminars and competition go hand in hand in the event. The competition is seven days long, from June 21- June 27. This seven days long session includes:

  • June 21: Ideation; participants present their idea briefing on the first day. And a seminar on ideation.
  • June 22: Webinar by experts that includes; Sales strategies, Marketing strategies, Digital marketing
  • June 23: Ideation 2; Problem Identification; the experts will guide each group with the possible problem they might have in their business idea.
  • June 24: Website Designing;
  • June 25, 26: Participants will be given time to prepare their prototype.
  • June 27: Final pitching; our experts observe the prepared prototype, and will award the best one. 

5. Why should students be part of this competition?

Participating in this competition would yield many benefits to every participant. Apart from Knowledge, Skills, and network, You will get a chance to learn about the important part of doing business in the 21st century and your prospective future competitors. The winner will be awarded Rs. 25000 cash prize and free- web hosting for life.

9. Any messages that you would like to convey to our readers?

I have always believed there is only one thing being eternal, and that is change. Being open to learn and compete is the first step towards change, rest is failing and not giving up.
