The final event of the Hult Prize at Amrit Science Campus took place on February 25, 2024, at the Auditorium Hall of the Central Department of Education, located within Tribhuvan University Central Campus.

Amidst an atmosphere charged with anticipation and enthusiasm, students from Amrit Science Campus showcased their entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, marking a significant milestone for the institution. The final event, which featured 11 competing teams, highlighted the theme of the Hult Prize 2024: "Unlimited," urging participants to unleash their boundless potential to effect positive change on a global scale.

Distinguished guests graced the occasion, including Mr. Khageshwar Mandal, Assistant Dean of IOST, and Mr. Sarbin Sayami, Head of the Department of the Central Department of CSIT, who added prestige and insight to the proceedings. A panel of esteemed judges, comprising industry experts from Nepal, lent their expertise to evaluate the pitches and select the winners.

Among the participating teams, each presenting innovative solutions aligned with the Hult Prize theme, Team "Eco Thaili" emerged victorious with their groundbreaking concept of eco-friendly bags crafted from banana fiber. Their innovative blend of chemistry and business sustainability captured the attention of both the judges and the audience, earning them the coveted first place.

In addition to the winning team, recognition was also bestowed upon the runners-up: team Wekollect, whose waste management system earned them the second runner-up position, and team Trash Trove, recognized for their innovative approach to recycling non-biodegradable and domestic wastes.

As the victorious team, "Eco Thaili" now embarks on a journey to represent Amrit Science Campus at the Hult Prize regional summits, scheduled to take place in 8 cities worldwide in June. Their success not only exemplifies the innovative prowess of Amrit Science Campus but also underscores the potential for positive change through entrepreneurship and sustainability initiatives.

Broadway Infosys, serving as the training partner for the event, also featured a dedicated stall where they offered students comprehensive information about a wide array of IT courses. At the booth, students had the opportunity to explore diverse educational pathways in the field of information technology, enabling them to make informed decisions about their academic and professional pursuits.

The inaugural Hult Prize event at Amrit Science Campus stands as a testament to the institution's commitment to fostering innovation and empowering students to become catalysts for meaningful change in society.
