The grand opening of Minds in Motion, the pre-event for the fourth edition of TechTrix Nepal, was celebrated at New Summit College, Shantinagar, Kathmandu, coinciding with World Environment Day. The ceremony was graced by Pradip Sharma Paudel, Executive Director of National Information Technology Center, as the Chief Guest, and presided over by Ajay Prasad Dhakal, Chairman of the college's management committee.
Principal Chokraj Dawadi welcomed over 1200 students from the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) to the event. The ceremony was enlivened by a musical performance from popular singer Human Acharya, with the audience singing along, and comedian Raja Rajendra Pokhrel, who brought laughter with his satirical humor.
The month-long Minds in Motion program will include a variety of events, such as Public Speaking, Photography Training, Barista Training, Bakery Training, Share Market Training, Payment Gateway Training, Idea Pitching, Talent Showcase, E-sports Competition, Sports Competition, and SEE Quiz, as Principal Dhawadi highlighted in his opening address.
Students of New Summit College also entertained the attendees with cultural performances. In his closing remarks, Chairman Ajay Prasad Dhakal emphasized the college's commitment to ongoing investment in capacity-building training and programs for students, promising to enhance the infrastructure needed for modern learning activities.
