In a commendable initiative, Far-Western University has unveiled plans to collect and share traditional stories from the Far West region while concurrently delving into the study and support of the area's language, culture, and literature.

Dr. Haris Chandra Bhatt, Director of Far-Western University's Center for Language, Literature, and Culture Studies, revealed that the university is in the final stages of preparing for the publication of folk tales gathered from all nine districts of the Far-Western Province. "We are currently engaged in the collection and publication of folk tales from various communities, with an emphasis on presenting these stories in both the local and Nepali languages," specified Director Bhatt.

Furthermore, Director Bhatt highlighted the university's commitment to preserving linguistic diversity by ensuring that the folklore of specific communities is published in their respective languages.
