Tribhuvan University started affiliation process for eleven new engineering colleges without information Institute of Engineering.
Institute of Engineering does not want to give more affiliation to new engineering colleges, without increasing the capacity of IOE, but Tribhuvan University officials has started the process.
Tribhuvan University planning commission has asked for application for letter of intent, and 13 colleges has applied for this, out of which following 11 colleges has already got the letter of intent.

2. Kathmandu Institute of Technology
3. Symbiotic international institute of technology
4. Metro Engineering College
5. Trinity Engineering College
6. Milestone Engineering College
7. Xavier Engineering College
8. Morgan Engineering College
9. Amarsingh Engineering College
10. Arniko Foundation
11. Gorakha Engineering College
