The government has designated Dr. Mangal Rawal as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences. The Ministry of Health and Population gave such responsibility to the hospital's director Dr. Rawal.
The post of Academy's Vice-Chancellor was lying vacant after the tenure of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rajendra Wagle ended recently.
Academy's Pro-Chancellor and Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi provided Dr. Rawal with the responsibility on Monday. Associate Professor Rawal is an orthopedist.
Dr. Rawal, a permanent resident of Humla district, was serving as the Director of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences hospital for one and a half years.
