Diktel Multiple Campus Achieves Prestigious 'QAA' Accreditation Recognition

The Diktel Multiple Campus has achieved accreditation from the University Grants Commission (UGC) for Quality Assurance Accreditation (QAA). This accreditation was granted during the board meeting held on the 19th of Poush, 2080. In celebration of this accomplishment, the campus organized an official program on Falgun 22, 2080, expressing joy and gratitude towards stakeholders.

Providing details about the QAA accreditation, the campus conveyed thanks and congratulations to all individuals involved in the efforts to obtain QAA. The campus has been actively pursuing QAA since the fiscal year 2071. With the QAA certification, Diktel Multiple Campus is now recognized as an educational institution capable of delivering quality higher education in the eastern hills.

Campus Chief Hira Kumar Rai expressed gratitude and shared insights into the national context, stating, "Approximately one thousand five hundred campuses are operating nationwide. Of these, only one hundred have received QAA accreditation from the University Grants Commission. Our campus is now part of that esteemed list. However, this marks the beginning; we must continue working towards the reaccreditation process in the next five years. To achieve this, we have plans to enhance our quality standards and progress further."

The Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation Council Peer Review Team conducted the final assessment on the campus from Jestha 28 to Asar 1, 2079. Diktel Multiple Campus, as a prominent institution in the district, submitted a self-study report in 2076 to support the QAA attainment.

Motivated by the QAA achievement, Diktel Multiple Campus organized a community outreach program within a week, visiting Chyasmitar Secondary School, Champavati Secondary School Buipa, and Saraswati Secondary School Patheka. Campus Chief Rai disseminated information about the obtained QAA certificate through various media outlets in the district.

Despite challenges, participants in the program, including Campus Management Committee Chair Durga Jayanti Rai and San Bahadur Rai, Chief of District Coordination Committee, Khotang, expressed their joy at the QAA certification.

Established in 2037, Diktel Multiple Campus initiated postgraduate classes affiliated with Tribhuvan University in 2070. The campus, with students from Khotang, Solukhumbu, and Bhojpur, hosts approximately seven hundred students in Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, and Management. The campus provides various facilities, including a hostel, physics laboratory, computer lab, library, and other amenities.
