Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Controller's Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has postponed the entrance examination for scholarship and full fee paying category to all Pre-Diploma and Diploma/Certificate level programs.
After the controversy between the Medical Education Commission and the CTEVT regarding implementing the Medical Education Act, the CTEVT postponed the examination. The said exam will now be conducted on the 2nd and 6th of Bhadra.
The Deputy Chairperson of the Commission, Mr. Shreekrishna Giri, and the Deputy Chairperson of City College, Mr. Khagendra Prasad Adhikari, were present for discussions on conducting the entrance examination of CTEVT at the Ministry of Education on Wednesday and Thursday.
In the meeting, Education Minister Ashok Kumar Rai and Education Secretary Suresh Adhikari coordinated between the two institutions and provided directions to move forward. After reaching an agreement and coordinating within the next 15 days, the examination will be conducted accordingly, which will lead to the current postponement of the exam.
CTEVT postponed the entrance examination dates for both scholarship and full fee-paying categories for some special reasons.
Also, CTEVT has extended the form submission deadline up to Shrawan 26, 2080 (August 11, 2023)
