Center for Education and Human Resource Development Launches Mobile App

Center for Education and Human Resource Development has launched the E-Class Nepal mobile app for facilitating alternative learning. 

The app has been brought into operation from today to provide immediate service to school level students and teachers. It was inaugurated by Education, Science and Technology Minister Giriraj Mani Pokhrel. The app was developed by Pragati IT Solutions for free. The app incorporates textbooks for students, alternative educational materials for teachers, and assessment methods.

Baikuntha Prasad Aryal, Director General of the Center, said that the app is built in such a way that it can be used from all parts of Nepal.  "This app can be used as per the need of the user," said Aryal. "We are preparing materials targeting the children of ECD and planning to add more materials."

Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel said that the Class 12 examination has been completed to save the academic session and discussions have been started to find alternatives for higher education as well.

"The app will help the children continue their learning in the current situation and changing environment," he said. "The content in this app will be useful to students, teachers, and parents."
