British College Joins Nepal's Youth Entrepreneurship Summit as Knowledge Partner

The British College has entered into a partnership agreement as a Knowledge Partner for the third edition of the Nepal Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, a collaborative effort between the Government of Nepal, the National Youth Council, and the Nepal Business Institute (NBI).

Vishal Gaire, the coordinator of the main organizing committee for the conference, and Mahendra Raj Kandel, the executive director of the British College, have signed a memorandum of understanding to formalize their cooperation in this event. Mahendra Kandel, the executive director of the British College, expressed the significance of this conference, emphasizing its value for entrepreneurs and young innovators residing in Nepal. He highlighted the British College's commitment to bridging the gap between theory and practice by fostering connections between startup ventures, digital transformation, quality education, entrepreneurship, and skills development.

Similarly, Vishal Gaire, the conference coordinator and president of Nepal Business Institute (NBI), encouraged youth participation and support for startup enterprises. He advocated for youth-friendly government policies, programs, and budget allocations, all in alignment with the vision outlined in the Youth Entrepreneurship Vision 2030 (Youth Entrepreneurship Vision 2023). The summit is set to welcome 500 young entrepreneurs from across 70 districts.

Under the theme "Youth Innovation, Investment, and Prosperity," this year's conference will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister. Its primary objectives are to address the challenges posed by COVID-19 and current financial constraints, identify key areas for youth entrepreneurship investment, and inspire young individuals to embark on startup ventures. The summit will serve as a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to network at a high level, establish investment agreements, gain access to financing, and engage in discussions about government policies, startup programs, and success stories. Ultimately, the event aims to enhance the capacity and entrepreneurial acumen of young innovators and is deemed a pivotal step by the organizers in achieving these goals.
