Academic Calendar of Master's Level Semester Program (2081) Tribhuvan University

Tribhuvan University has proposed an academic calendar for the Master's semester program. According to the proposed annual calendar, entrance application forms for the first semester of the Master's program will open in the coming Mangsir. 

Tribhuvan University has set the entrance exam and admission period for Poush. The proposed calendar mentions classes starting from Magh 1, exams starting from Baisakh 4, and result publication on Asar 1.

Note: The following conditions are to be applied while executing this calendar.

  1. Final exam duration for each semester/annual cohort to be not more than 20 days.
  2. Admission period for each cohort (annual and semester) to be maximum 4 weeks.
  3. All practical exams (practicum) to be completed within 2 weeks after final exams. Regional offices of TU to be responsible for regulating practical exams. Alternatively, practical exams required for particular subjects can be conducted before their final exams.
  4. The MBBS admission will be finalized every year in coordination with Medical Education Commission, Nepal.
  5. Specific consideration to be made if there are internships in some current and potential future programs/courses.
