The Nepal Medical Council (NMC) has released the examination schedule for the year 2083, outlining a timetable for both Graduate Level Registration Certificate Examinations (Licensing Examination) and Postgraduate Special Examinations.

Dates for Graduate Level Registration Certificate Examinations:
- First Session: May 26-28, 2026 (12th, 13th, and 14th of Jestha 2083)
- Second Session: September 20-22, 2026 (4th, 5th, and 6th of Ashoj 2083)
- Third Session: January 27-29, 2026 (13th, 14th, and 15th of Magh 2083)
Dates for Post-Graduate Special Examinations:
- First Session: July 23-24, 2026 (7th and 8th of Shrawan 2083)
- Second Session: December 2-3, 2026 (16th and 17th of Mangsir 2083)
- Third Session: April 1-2, 2026 (18th and 19th of Chaitra 2083)
Note:
For students who enrolled in and completed undergraduate or postgraduate medical programs outside Nepal after September 2020, it is mandatory to:
- Submit an official equivalence certificate of their academic degree at the time of online application submission, as per the full board decision of the Nepal Medical Council dated 2082/11/28.
- Provide an official document issued by the Department of Immigration showing complete records of arrival and departure (excluding travel to/from India), covering the period from departure for study to return to Nepal.
Failure to submit these required documents will result in disqualification from the examination.
