How to Apply for the transcript of Tribhuvan University?

Requirements

  • Photocopy of TU Registration card

  • Photocopy of mark-sheets of every year or semester

Process for document submission

  1. Fill the voucher and deposit the fees at Global IME Bank located opposite to the Office of the Controller of Examinations in Kirtipur or Balkhu.

  2. You can find Transcript form at the Office of the Controller of Examinations in Balkhu. Fill the form.
  3. Go to Room No. 1 of the Office of the Controller of Examinations in Balkhu with the bank voucher.

  4. You will get a computer voucher slip from the room no. 1 and inquire which room you should go to next.

  5. Go to the redirected room number and submit your documents. You will be told to visit again after a certain number of days to collect the transcript.

  6. When you come to collect the transcript, bring the above-mentioned computer slip; your citizenship, license, or any ID proof, both original and photocopy.

How to apply for Original Certificate from Tribhuvan University (TU)?

You will need:

  • Your Registration card and Transcript photocopy
  • Two MRP size photos
  • Application charges: 

Intermediate-Rs. 800

Bachelor’s -Rs. 1700

Master’s -Rs. 1800

The process to submit the documents:

●      Fill the voucher and deposit the fees at Global bank located in front of the Office of the Controller of Examinations in Kirtipur or Balkhu.

●      You can find a form for the Original Certificate at the Office of the Controller of Examinations in Balkhu. Fill the form.

●      Go to room no. 1 of the Office of the Controller of Examinations in Balkhu with the bank voucher.

●      You will get a computer voucher slip from room no. 1 and inquire which room you should go to next.

How to get the equivalency certificate from Tribhuvan University (TU)? What is the online processing for the same?

Tribhuvan University's Curriculum Development Center (CDC) is in charge of all degree equivalence-related activities.

To begin, you must present all of the original documents specified below to an officer. 

If he/she approves your documents, you must fill out an equivalent form and deposit NPR 1000 in Nepal Bank Limited (if your university is recognized by TU) to receive your voucher/slip. 

If your university is not recognized by TU, you must deposit NPR 4000 and obtain a voucher/slip from Nepal Bank Limited.

  • Master/ Bachelor Degree Certificate or Passing Certificate
  • Transcript or Mark Sheet of Master/ Bachelor Degree
  • Character Certificate of Master/ Bachelor Degree
  • Syllabus or Curriculum of Subjects (if your university is not recognized by TU)
  • Master Thesis or Project Work (if your university is not recognized by TU)
  • Migration Certificate (For A-Level)
  • Character Certificate of +2 or A-Level
  • SLC Marksheet
  • SLC Certificate

  • Nepal Bank Voucher
  • Passport / Visa for all other countries except India

Download the retotal form from here: https://edusanjal.com/about/downloads/ and fill in the necessary information and submit it to the TU Office of the Controller of Examinations at Balkhu, Kathmandu.

How to Apply for an Equivalence Certificate for Indian Students?

To apply for the equivalence certificate following is required:

  1. Must have completed Class 12 or equivalent study at a university, board, or academic institution.
  2. Must have completed 5 subjects including English in class 12.
  3. Class 10 certificates must be submitted in order to receive the equivalent of class 12.
  4. Educational Institutions or Boards that operate in Nepal and are affiliated with a foreign educational institution or board must seek authorization from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology of the Nepalese government. Otherwise, such institutions' and institutions' qualifications will not be recognized and equivalency will not be granted.

  • Pass Certificate/ Provisional Certificate
  • Character Certificate and School leaving Certificate
  • Migration Certificate

Since Indian students do not need a visa to study in Nepal, students can contact the appropriate institutions for the programs they wish to enroll in after obtaining equivalency certificates. He or she will be guided through the admissions procedure by the respective university or institution.
