Triton Online Mega Fest 2020

DV Education Group is organizing “Triton Online Mega Fest 2020” for the students and alumni of its colleges (Triton, Shubhashree, and Shepherd College) during the COVID-19 pandemic. This mega fest comprises both academic and entertainment/fun sides to be explored and fostered among the participants. The events for the competitions are Art Competition, Poem Competition, Photography Competition, Quiz Competition, Big Idea Pitching Competition, Stand-up Comedy, Singing Competition, and TikTok Competition. The sole purpose behind this fest is to continue the platform even at the time of uncertainties and pandemic for our students to expose their creative and artistic talents. The fest runs for 10 days and the winner(s) will be declared on 21st June 2020.

Highlights:

Art Competition

• Theme: COVID 19 (World versus Corona/ Covid-19 and its impact/Nature versus Corona)
• Content: Original
• Presentation medium: watercolor, poster color, acrylic color, pencil color, pencil, charcoal.
• Number of presentations: Two (Max.)

Big Idea Pitching Competition

Any idea that participants think is viable during COVID 19 or post COVID 19 for any form of business. The participants should make a video of no more than 5 minutes consisting of idea, its applications and benefits to end market, its unique approach in addressing problems and superiority to market competitions.

Poem Competition

Theme: COVID 19- Safety, Precautions, and Awareness, Nature Taking Rest, Environment and Wildlife, The New Normal “Social Distancing” or anything that relates to COVID 19 or the challenges faced during COVID 19. It should be presented in video format (recording) and should be no more than 3 minutes.

Photography Competition

Theme: Culture, Nature and Environment, COVID 19, People, Humanity…..

Note: Only one picture will be eligible from one participant.

Stand-Up Comdey

This is an entertainment side and participants should send their video of no more than 5 minutes. They should take care of the following things: no vulgarity or use of such words, no religious content or contents criticizing any culture or caste, no political or violent content. The organizer has complete rights to cancel any participant’s registration if organizer thinks it can bring negative responses toward the brand. 

Blog Writing Competition 

• Theme: Participants can do in any topic except religious or political interest.

TikTok Competition

• Acting: Anyone dialogue from Nepali/ Hindi Cinema
• Singing: Anyone song from Nepali/ Hindi Cinema

First, do the registration and send your TikTok video at event@triton.edu.np. The college will post the videos on the college's Facebook page after the registration deadline. Then the winners of Tiktok are based on the maximum views, love, and share that their videos get, and the videos must have hashtags - #tic #saic #shepherd #tritonmegafest2020 #dveducation.

Singing Competition

• Participants should make a video recording of one Nepali song. 
• Song: Nepali

DV Education Quiz Competition

• Topic: Quiz will be from General Knowledge, Sports, Movie and Tech industry…..
• Each team needs to have three members and the format will be as follows:
• First Round: 5 questions will be asked to each team from GK and each right answer will get 10 points.
• Second round: Teams have to select one category that they think are strong at like Sports, Entertainment, and Technology…. And 3 questions will be asked and each right answer to get 10 points.
• Third round: Challenge round-host will select one category and ask one question from it, right answer gives 20 points and wrong answer will be the deduction of 10 points.
• Tie-breaker: If two teams get equal points, then tie-breaker questions will be asked to each team and one who gets it wrong loses. 

Terms and Conditions:

1. Participants must be students or alumni of DV Education which consists of Triton, Shubhashree, and Shepherd College. 
2. Registration is compulsory for the participants and one participant can register in multiple competitions as per their interest.
3. Once the registration is completed, participants are eligible for competition(s) and can start to make the content as per the given theme and other terms and conditions of competitions.  
4. The content should be original or inspired but copying from other creativity is prohibited and such participant(s) will be canceled. 
5. The content should be provided to the concerned person/address through email within the mentioned deadline, else it will not be entertained. 
6. Winner(s) shall be awarded with cash prizes and certificates.
7. The final decision of competitions or any disputes remains with college management.
