The highly anticipated 'Tech X 2024' exhibition, organized by Softwarica College of IT and E-commerce, has officially commenced. This event showcases a variety of innovative projects focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, and Cybersecurity.
Held at the college campus in Dillibazar, the exhibition features projects developed by second and third-year IT students. "Our students have displayed remarkable creativity and technical skill in their projects," said College Director Amrit Thapa.
Visitor Anusuya Bhattarai expressed her amazement at the showcased projects and her excitement about the technological proficiency demonstrated by the younger generation. With free entry, the exhibition is expected to draw more than ten thousand visitors.
One of the event's highlights is the 'Robot Warriors League 2024,' where over 40 robots from various companies will compete in a robot war battle, a league set to last six months.
Visitors can also explore robotic dogs, AI assistant robots designed for library and airport management, semi-automated warehouse management technologies, and robots capable of analyzing password cracking.
The college stated that the main objective of the exhibition is to inform the public about the significant advancements in the IT field. "Through this event, we want to highlight the recent changes in IT, potential innovations, the role of IT education in our lives, and its importance," added College Principal Pramod Paudel.
The exhibition includes food stalls, intellectual games, and the opportunity to experience electric vehicles built by students. Over 30 innovative projects will be on display, including those related to banking, tour guides, football, AI assistants for eye hospitals, robotic waiters, and robot wars.
