The Startup Idea Pitch Competition marks the concluding day of "The Entrepreneur's Guide For Beginners 2.O" a six-day entrepreneurship workshop. This event is being organized by Curiouwe and taking place at IOE Pulchowk Campus. During this event, teams comprising 2 to 4 members have the opportunity to present their startup ideas and compete for exciting prizes. While the competition primarily targets workshop participants, it warmly welcomes individuals who didn't register or take part in the workshop to join as well.

Fee: The competition is free for participants of "The Entrepreneur's Guide For Beginners 2.O" as they have already paid for the workshop. Non-participants can register their teams for a fee of NRS 500.

Prize: NRS 5000 Cash, Gift Hampers from Chakhu, fixed internship from internshipinnepal.com and many more yet to announce

Registration: Teams consisting of a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 4 members can register for the competition. Each team will have 5 minutes to pitch their Startup idea in front of the judges. After the pitch, there will be a 3-minute session for judges and the team to engage in a question-and-answer discussion.

Event Highlights: In addition to the pitch competition, the event will feature informative sessions by renowned entrepreneurs throughout the day. These sessions will provide valuable insights and advice on various aspects of entrepreneurship. Furthermore, there will be entertaining performances to enhance the overall experience and create a vibrant atmosphere.

  1. Technology and Innovation: This category can include ideas related to software development, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, augmented reality, virtual reality, robotics, automation, and other cutting-edge technologies.
  2. Social Impact and Sustainability: This category focuses on ideas that address social and environmental challenges. It can include startups working on renewable energy, waste management, sustainable agriculture, clean water solutions, healthcare access, education, poverty alleviation, and other initiatives with a positive impact on society.
  3. E-commerce and Marketplaces: This category is for startups that aim to disrupt the traditional retail landscape. It can include online marketplaces, direct-to-consumer brands, subscription-based services, e-commerce platforms, and innovations in logistics, supply chain, or customer experience.
  4. Health and Wellness: This category encompasses startups focusing on healthcare, fitness, mental well-being, and personal development. It can include digital health solutions, telemedicine platforms, wearable devices, fitness apps, nutrition services, mental health support, and any other innovations promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Additionally, you can have an "Open Category" that allows participants to present their ideas outside of the predefined categories. This gives room for unique and unconventional startup concepts that may not fit into the other categories but still deserve consideration.
