King’s College, in collaboration with the Lufthansa Group Germany and Maker Valley is hosting the ‘Impact Week Kathmandu 2019’ from 11th November to 14 November 2019. Impact Week Challenge is an intensive four-day innovation challenge where 100+ students shall tackle most pressing national/social problems while being coached by International innovation-experts across six different tracks: Healthcare, Education, Mobility, Agriculture, Arts & Culture and Tourism.
Objective
The objective of this event is to empower problem solvers and promote human-centered design and collaboration to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and inter company and intercultural exchange. It intends to create an army of ‘Design Thinkers’ and creative problem solvers who can develop solutions to local and global problems through innovative, people-centered approach.
Benefits
This programme will benefit the students in multiple ways – getting trained by International coaches about the globally emerging approach of ‘Design Thinking’, having a hands-on experience of solving real-life problem, getting connected with the International coaches and collaborators.
