Student Council of Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) is set to organize the Preliminary rounds of the “16th KCM Inter-College Music Competition” on 14th and 15th February, 2020 and the finale on the 22nd of February, 2020, at Bhrikuti Mandap Garden Area, Kathmandu. This year ICMC is being organized for the 16th time. 

ICMC is one of the major events of KCM. It has been successfully organizing this iteration of the competition since 2004. With the competition being widely popular amongst the youth and music enthusiasts of all age groups, the event acts as a platform for the college level students across Nepal to exhibit their musical talents. 


Three amazing guest bands will be performing at the finale where 10 participating bands will be performing for the title. Few of the guest bands performing in the previous year was Jindabaad, Mukti and Revival, The Monkey Temple, Underside and many more.


This year, ICMC presents Jhilkey and the Company, ASM, Chakachak, Jindabaad and Albatross as its guest bands along with a few of its past winners.


ITINERARY

  • Live Performance: We will have musicians who will perform at your college premises during the activation program.
  • Open Mic: The students will get a chance to showcase their talent and express themselves.
  • Exciting Giveaways: The students can get a chance to win amazing giveaways such as Sprite gift hampers, Fogg perfumes, Tickets to the ICMC Finale and many more.
  • Student Networking
  • Fun Games: We will be playing interactive games with the students.

HOW IS IT BENEFICIAL?

  • Help build network with different colleges. 
  • The students can build personal relations and networks with the sponsors, which might help them in building public relation and organizing their future events.
  • Students will get to enjoy live musical performances from popular singer/band.This activation program will also provide a platform for Student Council, along with other students, of respective colleges to network with each other.
  • Recreation for the students.
  • We will be giving away free tickets to the preliminary rounds and the finale of the 16th ICMC along with other exciting giveaways for their participation in the activation programme.
