Humanities and Social Sciences
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) functions as an autonomous body of the Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Five subjects are compulsory in this stream. Also, if the students want, they can choose 6 subjects as well. Humanities and Social Sciences cover a wide range of subjects. CBSE curriculum covers History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, English, Hindi, and Sanskrit of the many subjects that Humanities and Social Sciences have under it. The board follows a continuous assessment system throughout the year via Formative Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA). The assessment is divided into 50% per semester so that 100% is accommodated into two semesters per year.
A student must have passed/appeared for CBSE/ SEE or equivalent from a recognized institution/ board. The student should have scored 60% and above to be eligible for admission. If the results have not been declared, we provide provisional admission.
