M.Ch Urology is a 3 years academic program of Kathmandu University after MS program.

Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) is running the M.Ch Urology program at Kathmandu University, and its affiliated colleges constitute the program. 

The entrance Test for the M.Ch Urology program is conducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC), Government of Nepal, and candidate selection is done as per MEC guidelines by MEC. 

The total Fee for M.Ch Urology in 2024 is NRs 25,90,000 for Nepali students. Students of foreign nationality must pay 1.6 times the fee of Nepalese students.

Eligibility

  1. MS General Surgery or equivalent - Candidate with MS (For example: MS Urology,  MS Neurosurgery etc.) shall be eligible only in MCh program in the respective subject. 
  2. Specialty Registration in Nepal Medical Council (or Medical Council of the  respective country)

  1. Question type: Single best response type of multiple-choice questions b. Option: Four options (A, B, C, D) 
  2. Number of questions: 200 (no negative marking) 
  3. Full marks: 200 
  4. Pass Marks: 100 
  5. Duration: 3 hours
