The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Forestry program requires candidates to achieve high academic standards and make significant contributions to scientific knowledge through original research. Admission to the Ph.D. degree in Forestry at the Institute of Forestry (IOF) necessitates these criteria.
Eligibility
A candidate is eligible for preliminary enrollment and registration in the Ph.D. program at IOF if they have achieved at least a second division in their Master's degree from Tribhuvan University or any other university recognized by TU.
For PhD in Forestry, the candidate must have completed either an MSc in Forestry or an MSc in Natural Resources.
Admission Criteria
The application form for enrollment in the PhD program is available from the Institute of Forestry, Office of the Dean. Both Nepalese and foreign nationals must pay the required application fee when submitting their application.
