Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine, Maharajgunj Medical Campus offers a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) Cardiology program.
Eligibility
Minimum Academic Qualification: MD Internal Medicine/MD Cardiology from Tribhuvan University (TU) or equivalent degree recognized by TU and registered in Nepal Medical Council (NMC) for MBBS and MD/MS degree.
Selection criteria for admission
- Candidates must pass the entrance examination for DM/MCh to enter into the respective programs.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance examinations. The examinations will be of 2 hours.
- Candidates with government or non-government bond for previous programs must have completed the bond period before taking the entrance examinations. If any candidate is found not to have completed the bond, then he/she will not be allowed to give the entrance examination or if had passed under false pretence, he/she will be removed from the program at any time.
- Candidates will be admitted according to merit basis.

- Number of questions: 200 (no negative marking)
- Full marks: 200
- Pass Marks: 100
- Duration: 3 hours
