The BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture is a professional degree program that lasts for three years and consists of 126 credits. It is affiliated with Limkowing University in Malaysia. This comprehensive program integrates theoretical aspects of interior design with practical approaches to address functional and aesthetic design challenges in various human environments, such as residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. Students who enroll in this program will acquire a range of competencies, including architectural drafting, illustration and presentation skills (such as creating presentation boards and perspective drawings), design proficiency, and a practical understanding of materials, resources, and business practices relevant to the interior design field.
Interior designers employ their knowledge and artistic vision to collaborate with clients and other design professionals in developing design solutions that prioritize safety, functionality, attractiveness, and the needs of the people using the space. Throughout this program, students will not only learn to solve realistic problems related to interior spaces, but also gain knowledge of construction and technical aspects. This will enable them to understand the interplay between architecture, interiors, and project management. Graduates will have a wide range of career opportunities within the industry.
As an internationally oriented curriculum, students will have access to both national and international resources. The program places a strong emphasis on students' career prospects and offers a combination of theoretical and practical lessons to provide a hands-on learning experience. This approach allows students to develop their skills in a professional manner. Furthermore, the program has received approval from the Ministry, and students have the flexibility to transfer their credits if they wish to do so.
