Our BBS course provides a strong foundation in applied areas of business. This course highlights the importance and appreciation for the diversity and inter-relationship of business and management issues. In the later part of the course, it furnishes opportunities to choose any management sector and specialization courses to provide a degree of functional expertise.

Understanding the importance of a concrete curriculum with the need of the composition and structure of local academic patterns, the curriculum for BBS degree is comprised of four separate and distinct course components as follows:

  1. A strong foundation in the related areas of business such as language, economic analysis, legal environment and quantitative methods to prepare graduates to understand, analyze and implement the management concepts and theories. Overall business studies encompassing and integrating all functional areas to provide graduates with an appreciation for the diversity and inter-relationship of business and management issues.
  2. The opportunity to concentrate in one area of specialization such as Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management Science and Marketing in order to provide graduates with some degree of functional expertise.
  3. The opportunity to choose any sector of management, including tourism, co-operative, transport, hotel and small business, as an elective course enables graduates to apply the core functional knowledge and skills in their chosen sector or business.
  4. The course is designed in such a way that students can compete with any other programs having clear conceptual and practical knowledge.

Eligibility: Students who have passed the 10+2 or PCL or any other equivalent examinations from a recognized academic institute with second division (securing 45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA and minimum grade 'D+' in all the subjects of 11 and 12 are eligible to enroll in this program.
