ABOUT

Nepal Film Campus, located in Baneshwor, is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and offers a four-year course, Bachelor in Film Studies. The College was established in 2076 B.S. by a team of academicians, filmmakers, and media workers to cater to the need for skilled manpower for the film industry.

Nepal Film Campus aims to attract international students to study film studies in Nepal. Film experts from Hollywood, Bollywood, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Nepal will conduct the Script Writing and Direction, Sound Production & Design, Video Editing, Cinematography, Acting, and Film Analysis, classes.

For those considering sharpening their skills, the Nepal Film Campus offers a wide selection of immersive, hands-on workshops where working industry professionals teach students to create their original work using the latest techniques, industry-standard equipment, and premier facilities.

The campus fosters leadership, writing, and critical thinking skills through producing complex productions. Nepal Film Campus seeks to promote and advance the art of Visual Storytelling through Film Making.

To serve aspiring visual storytelling artists/students, teachers on the campus pass on their knowledge, techniques, and methods of artistic film-making while incorporating new technology and innovations.

Admission Guidelines

Candidates seeking admission in Nepal Film Campus programs must have a minimum grade of at least D+ Grade in all subjects in Class 11 and Grade 12. They must also express a serious desire to explore the art and craft of visual storytelling. In addition to that, candidates are expected be able to communicate well and work collaboratively with others in an artistic environment. 

In order to enroll, students have to visit the campus and fill up the admission forms. Applicants will be interviewed in the campus.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Nepal film Campus provides both need-based and merit-based scholarship opportunities to deserving students to pursue film studies in the Campus. Similarly, a number of scholarships are also provided by the Film Development Board, Nepal to study on this Campus.
