Established in 2010, NASA International College was founded by a team of visionary educators with the mission of providing quality education and fostering holistic development in students. Located in Gairigaun, Tinkune, Kathmandu, the college began with +2 programs under the National Examination Board (NEB) and later expanded to offer undergraduate programs as well as its own school and Montessori. From its inception, the college has emphasized academic excellence, state-of-the-art facilities, and innovative teaching methodologies.

  • Hostel Accommodation: Hostel facility is available for boys only.

  • Personal Mentor Teachers: Each group of 10 students is assigned a personal mentor teacher to provide tailored guidance and support.
  • Continuous Assignment System (CAS): Every assessment is conducted under the CAS to ensure consistent academic progress.
  • VEDA App Communication: Assignment and project work are regularly reviewed, with updates communicated to parents through the VEDA App.
  • Pre-Medical & Pre-Engineering Classes: Special classes for Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering streams, including dedicated practice sessions for exam-style questions.
  • CA Foundation, IELTS/PTE, and Personality Development: Additional classes for CA foundation, IELTS/PTE preparation, personality development, and career counseling are provided.
  • Balanced Academic and Extracurricular Focus: The curriculum follows a 70% focus on academics and 30% on extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
  • Customized Practice Books: Each subject has a customized practice book tailored to the NEB curriculum for better academic preparation.
  • Transportation: NASA College operates an EV shuttle service for students coming from within and around the Kathmandu Valley. This transport facility is also used for various educational purposes, such as field trips, industrial visits, and recreational activities.

Admission Guidelines

Eligibility:

Any student who has passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) or equivalent exams (ICSE, CBSE) is eligible to apply to NASA College. Students must have achieved a minimum grade of B+ for the Science stream and C+ for the Management stream in their SEE or equivalent exams.
Students wishing to apply before the SEE result is declared must submit the latest school report card (Class 10 mark sheet).

Admission Process:

Students must attend an entrance examination as part of the admission process.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Scholarship Criteria and Percentages

  1. GPA Based Scholarships:
    • ​​​​​​GPA 4.0: Students with a perfect GPA of 4.0 are eligible for a full scholarship covering Registration, Tuition Fee, Exam Fee, ECA/CCA/Sport, and Library Fee, amounting to 100% of the fees.
    • GPA 3.8-3.9: Students within this GPA range can receive an 80% scholarship, which also covers the same fees as the GPA 4.0 category.
    • GPA 3.65-3.79: This GPA range qualifies for a 50% scholarship, inclusive of Registration, Tuition Fee, Exam Fee, ECA/CCA/Sport, and Library Fee.
    • GPA 3.41-3.64: Students in this range are eligible for a 30% scholarship covering the same set of fees.
    • GPA 3.21-3.4: A 25% scholarship is available for students with a GPA in this range, covering Registration, Tuition Fee, Exam Fee, ECA/CCA/Sport, and Library Fee.
    • GPA 3.0-3.2: This category offers a 20% scholarship for students with GPAs within this range, inclusive of the aforementioned fees.
  2. Remote Area: Students from remote areas can avail a 20% scholarship.
  3. OBC (Dalit/Janajati): Students belonging to the OBC category, specifically Dalit or Janajati, are eligible for a 40% scholarship.
  4. National Player: Individuals recognized as National Players are eligible for a 50% scholarship.
  5. School Topper: This category offers a 40% scholarship to students who have topped their school.
  6. State Players: Students who are state-level players can avail a 25% scholarship.
  7. NASA Scholarship Test Topper-1st: The student who tops the NASA Scholarship Test is eligible for a full 100% scholarship.
  8. NASA Scholarship Test Topper-2nd: The second topper in the NASA Scholarship Test can receive a 75% scholarship.
  9. NASA Scholarship Test Topper-3rd: This position qualifies for a 50% scholarship.
  10. NASA Scholarship Test - Next Top 10 Students: The next top 10 students in the NASA Scholarship Test are eligible for a 50% scholarship.
  11. First 100 Students (First Come Basis): The first 100 students, based on a first-come-first-serve basis, can avail a 40% scholarship.

Important Note:

Candidates will only receive the highest scholarship applicable to them if they meet multiple criteria.

All scholarships provided are subject to termination under the following conditions:
