Modern School and College was established in 2050 B.S. (1993 A.D.) with the motto “Education for Peace and Prosperity”. It is a contemporary, activist, careful learning center where students are prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century and flourish as competent and disciplined global citizens. In the last thirty years, Modern has acquired unprecedented success at all levels of education and has become a synonym for an excellent education hub. It has bagged various prestigious National and International awards for its transformative educational practices and remarkable exam results.
Since its establishment, it has been incessantly contributing to the nation by producing academically sound, highly disciplined, socially and morally conscious, and accountable graduates. It has proved itself as the leading institution in providing world-class education through its excellent results in various national-level academic examinations and in extra-academic competitions. The toppers in various reputed organizations and the proficient, competent, disciplined, and well-mannered graduates who are competing in the global market in rank one validate the quality of education in the institution. With the same guts, it is marching ahead with its vision of enhancing the capacity of each individual associated consequently preparing them for a dignified life and enables to contribute to the nation’s development.
Modern has taken a ground-breaking step by launching the first +2 Management College in Bhaktapur district in 2065 B.S. and the first time +2 Law in Bhaktapur in association with the Katmandu School of Law in 2074 B.S. with the slogan “building your career, shaping your future”, since then, it is imparting the quality in academic and extra-academic services to the students and committed to building students’ careers in the field of management and law ensuring the better position in their workplace as well as dedicated to preparing them as a complete package of good and smart citizens.
To prepare well-knowledgeable and skilled manpower in the Management sectors, Modern has been running BBS programmes affiliated with Tribhuvan University Nepal. With the confidence and expertise earned in education over the past two and a half decades, it aspires to start the science stream in grade 11 from the coming academic session and plans to run BBA, BCA, BIM, BBM, BSc, CSIT, BHM, and other Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs in the future.
Modern is running Bachelor’s programmes at Srijana Nagar, Bhaktapur behind Transportation Management Service Office. The college is named as Universal Modern College.
Modern English Secondary School has been run at the same place.
