The Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT), as per CTEVT, is a three-year certificate program. The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) Program is a three-year academic course affiliated with CTEVT, which aims to fulfill the healthcare needs of the people with its socio-cultural impact on health. The primary focus of pharmacy studies is drugs and how they are used in human drug therapy. This course is based on the job required to be performed by a pharmacy assistant at different levels of public and private health institutions in Nepal. The professionals are eligible for registration as pharmacy assistants in the Nepal Pharmacy Council. The Diploma in Pharmacy program extends over three years. In Nepal, the prerequisite course for beginning a career in pharmacy is a diploma in pharmacy.
