MMIMS is waiting for affiliation for its MBBS program.
The MMIMS will have academic buildings and hostels as per guidelines of Nepal medical council. The college will have departments of Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Pharmacology, Human Anatomy, Clinical Physiology, Community Medicine, Medical Microbiology and Pathology besides all clinical departments in the hospital.
Upon successful operation of 5 years, the MMIMS will start BDS and Postgraduate Programs (MD/MS) & MSc. in Human Anatomy, Clinical Physiology,Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology and Forensic Medicine and other clinical disciplines.
Location
The Teaching Hospital is located at Swoyambhu adjacent to the ring road whereas the Medical College academic building will be located at Thankot around 8 km west from the Swoyambhu Teaching Hospital.
