IAESTE Nepal

An IAESTE traineeship is a great way to earn while you learn, as well as being a fantastic opportunity to travel and meet fellow students from all around the world!

International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE), an international non-government organization, provides students with technical degrees (engineering, sciences, and applied arts) with paid, course-related, training abroad. All traineeships are paid, and accommodation and visas are arranged by IAESTE, both in Nepal and the host country. With over 86 member countries and exchanging over 4000 job offers each year worldwide, it is the largest organization of its kind in the world.

KCC, as a local committee, manages all the activities of IAESTE in Nepal via IAESTE Club.

SDG Academy

The SDG Academy is the education platform of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), a global initiative for the United Nations. SDG Academy creates and curates free educational resources on sustainable development and offers them as a global public good. 

The courses cover the headline issues and a multitude of interdisciplinary topics related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, a set of aims and targets adopted by member states of the United Nations in 2015. The SDG Academy is made possible through the generous support of the Jeffrey Cheah FOUNDATION. 

Kantipur City College is the only proud member of SDG Academy in Nepal.

The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) has been operating since 2012 under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General. SDSN Works closely with United Nations agencies, multilateral financing institutions, the private sector, and civil society,

KCC, as an academic institute and a member of SDSN, has been mobilizing local scientific and technological expertise to promote practical solutions for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) via Sustainable Development Club (SDC). SDC collaborates with the input from both students and teachers.
